An excess is the amount of money you agree to pay towards a claim before your insurance provider covers the remaining cost.

The cover provided by our Salary Sacrifice Fleet Insurance policies provides social, domestic and pleasure and business use including commuting driving for both employee and their spouse.

The definition of a UK resident is set by our insurers. Please see below for how each of our insurers define UK residency:
Aviva: Driver is paying full taxes for HMRC and contracted to work for their employer beyond the end of the lease.
NIG: Driver is physically living in the UK for at least six months, intend to stay in the UK for at least the period of the lease, and be paying tax in the UK.
This applies to all named drivers including additional drivers.

Yes. If you or any other occupant of your vehicle leased through a salary sacrifice scheme is injured as a direct result of your vehicle being involved in an accident we'll contribute toward the medical expenses in connection with such injury up to a maximum value dependant on your provider.
Yes, belongings in your car are covered as part of our motor insurance for vehicles leased through salary sacrifice schemes. We'll pay you (or at your request, the owner) for loss
or damage to personal belongings caused by fire, theft
or accidental means while they're in or on your vehicle.
The maximum amount payable for any one incident varies dependant on your provider.
NIG: Do not offer legal expenses cover within their policies.
Aviva: Aviva policies do include legal expenses. Aviva will pay the fees and disbursements of any legal representative they agree to, and defend anyone they insure under this section:

- at a coroner's inquest
- at a fatal accident inquiry
- in any proceedings brought under the Road Traffic Acts or equivalent EU legislation.
A courtesy car may be available as part of the claim process if one is available. Courtesy cars are not provided by the insurer whilst vehicles are being serviced or due to a recall or fault on the vehicle.
If a new vehicle is on order we are able to extend our insurance up to six months after the original end date. This would be arranged through the lease partner.
As the Salary Sacrifice Fleet Insurance policy is fleet policy, no claims bonus will not be earnt during the period of insurance.
We are able to provide a claims history document at the end of the insurance period if required.
